Apple To Delay watchOS 2 Due To A Bug We Will Keep Waiting

It looks like all of us looking to try watchOS 2.0 today will have to put on our waiting pants. Apple has put out a statement saying it will have to delay the update due to a bug on the code.

"We have discovered a bug in development of WatchOS 2 that is taking a bit longer to fix than we expected. We will not release WatchOS 2 today but will shortly." -Apple spokeswoman Amy Bessette

That’s a bummer but at least they actually catch it before rolling out the update and not after like what happened last year with the rollout of iOS 8 that bricked many devices including mine for most of a day.

Hopefully Apple can work the bugs soon so we can try out the new features.

Today Apple will release iOS 9 for the iPhone and iPad. It will also release version 2 of watchOS for the Watch.

Both OS’s come with an onslaught of new features, stability improvements and efficiency.

On watchOS 2 the most notable features are native Watch apps that do not require them to communicate with the iPhone counterpart and third party complications.

On the iOS 9 front new features include split screen on iPads and completely rebuild Notes app among many other.
