The Best Replacement Refill For The Studio Neat Mark One Pen
Construction wise I love my Studio Neat Mark One pen. But I disliked the included Schmidt P8126 refill. I have a preference for Pentel Energel fine refills. I try to have them on all my pens but so far neither my Mark One nor my Machine Era Field pen has been blessed with Energel refills.
I have been on a constant search to find a refill almost as good as my Energels.
Enter The Swiss Made Premec
Here is the best refill I have found for my Studio Neat Mark One pen so far. The Swiss-made Premec G2 Jumbo Refill Gel comes in either 0.5mm or 0.7mm. I opted for the 0.5mm and I am really happy with how it performs. Not scratchy, fluid, not smudgy, and no clogging like the stock refill of the Mark One.
These refills are a bit hard to get and come and go from Amazon all the time so when you find them in stock make sure to order a couple at once.
